Common Water Heater Problems

If you suspect a water heater issue in your home, check out these tell-tale signs that you have a problem.


  • You have had your water heater for too long. Most water heaters are good for a decade so if your water heater is older than that, you should get a replacement.
  • If you see a water leak around your water heater than you are likely due for a replacement or repair.
  • If your water is coming out cloudy or with a metallic smell or rust in it then it may be time for a new water heater
  • If your hot water doesn't last as long as it used to then a repair or replacement will help.
  • If your water heater is making odd noises, call us and we can see the extent of the issue!

Our Water Heater Process

We will receive your call and take notes of the issues that you are having. We will then schedule a time to check out your water heater and you can describe the issues you have been facing.


Then we will inspect your water heater for some of the tell-tale signs that it is old such as how long you have had it, the issues it has been giving you, if there are leaks around it, strange noises, etc. Once we have diagnosed your water heater, we can then give you the news and figure out if a repair or replacement is necessary.


If repair is needed we may be able to work on your water heater or fix it on the spot. If a replacement is needed we can order a water heater for your home and install it for you once it is in our possession.
